A stalled cold front is lingering just offshore and on top of Palm Beach today.  Weather forecasters still think it will move through Thursday and we will have a nice weekend.

Thursday: A 20 percent chance of showers. Mostly sunny, with a high near 73. Breezy, with a north wind 14 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph.

Thursday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 63. North wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Friday: Sunny, with a high near 72. North wind around 14 mph, with gusts as high as 18 mph.

Friday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 66.

Beach Forecast

Rip currents: A moderate rip current risk is forecast for the Atlantic beaches.

Waves: Seas forecast to reach 6-7 feet in the outer Gulf waters. This will cause hazardous marine conditions over both the Atlantic and Gulf waters.  Surf is 2-4 feet at Midtown Beach.

Marine Forecast

Small craft advisory now in effect.

Winds and seas… northwest to northeast winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 5 to 10 feet.

Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller vessels should avoid navigating in these conditions.
