The new (novel) corona virus has people worried.  On Monday, March 9, at 2pm in Palm Beach Town Hall, the Public Safety Committee meeting will focus primarily on what the residents need to know about the virus, how to prevent becoming infected, and what the town and the local health systems have in place to contain the spread of the virus. This meeting will provide the latest update and will be packed with information to help residents, condo associations and businesses reduce the likelihood of transmission.  We need all hands on deck to keep our town healthy. Come and get the information you need to prevent infections. Councilwoman Maggie Zeidman, Chair of Public Safety and Councilwoman Julie Araskog will lead the discussion. Dr. George Gurdock, Medical Director of Emergency Services at Good Samaritan Hospital, Fire Chief Darrel Donatto, and Sean Baker, Division Chief of Emergency Medical Services will provide updates on what the town and our local hospital have in place to respond to local transmission of the novel corona virus.
