‘Sea Street’ Designation Hits the Pause Button

The Town Council hasn’t totally killed the Landmarks Preservation Board’s plan to consider granting “landmark” status to homes on Seabreeze, Seaview, and Seaspray avenues, but it wants to hear more from concerned homeowners.

Work on any demolition or new construction could be frozen during a Landmarks review which could take months. Normally the Architectural Commission would review the plans.
