Recreation Center Construction Team Plans Groundbreaking

Our Town  |  September 21, 2018

The Recreation Center planning team met this week and a groundbreaking celebration is set for October 22 at 10 a.m. at the site.

“The project is moving ahead quickly, the old rec center is gone, and they are on schedule for a completion in November, 2019,” said Michael Ainslie, a Civic Association Director.

“I think this is a great project,” said Pat Marshall, Hedrick Brothers Construction Project Manager. “The old structure was dated and wasn’t serving the community as well as it could. We’re replacing that building and adding a full-service gymnasium with lots of facilities that the town never had before and that they certainly deserve.”
