Will Full Moon Bring King Tide?

With the beauty of this month’s full moon, could come the flooding of a King tide. Tuesday, November 12, will mark the November full moon. According to the National Weather Service, this brilliant lunar event may in fact create a tidal surge, that could cause flooding in some low-lying areas. Last month, on October 27, meteorologists predicted King Tide conditions. However, flooding was minimal. Though King Tides typically die down by November, the easterly wind pattern may encourage another round of minor tidal flooding.
