A Florida Department of Transportation contractor will pave Flagler Drive south of Southern Boulevard, near the Southern Boulevard Bridge, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Wednesday, July 12, through Friday, July 14.
Flaggers will direct the flow of traffic alternating in the north and south directions of South Flagler Drive, the DOT said.
Contractor Johnson Brothers Construction paved a portion of Southern Boulevard east of the Southern Boulevard Bridge, near Mar-a-Lago, in late June.
The new Southern Boulevard Bridge opened to motorists and pedestrians in September, after more than five years of construction. The $97 million bridge, which replaced an earlier version built in 1950, is one of three spans that connect Palm Beach and West Palm Beach.
