New Palm Beach Day Academy Fourth-Graders Walk from Lower to Upper Campus Over Bridge

About 35 students plus parents and administrators from the Palm Beach Day Academy walked over the Royal Park Bridge this morning [See the short 40 sec video above].

The students just graduated from third-grade at the academy’s Lower Campus in West Palm Beach. This fall, they will begin fourth grade at the Upper Campus in Palm Beach. The 1.3-mile walk is becoming a right-of-passage for the students.

This is the second year for the bridge walk and based on the enthusiasm it will probably become an annual tradition.

Students stopped at the Society of the Four Arts for refreshments when the walk was completed. Mentors from the last year’s fourth-grade class met the new class at the Upper Campus.
