As Hurricane Dorian barrels toward the northern Bahamas the Town of Palm has put a mandatory evacuation order for residents on hold. Forecast models predict the hurricane will turn to the northeast without making a Florida landfall.
Palm Beach County and the Town of Palm Beach remain under a hurricane watch.
Tropical storm force winds, high surf and rain are forecast beginning Sunday.

As of 5 PM August 31, a Tropical Storm Watch has been issued for the east coast of Florida from Deerfield Beach to Sebastian Inlet.
