Annual Community Service Award Breakfast with NBC’s Lester Holt
The Civic Association’s Annual Community Service Award Breakfast will feature keynote speaker Lester Holt, NBC News Award-Winning Journalist & Dateline NBC Anchor.
Previously, he was the anchor and managing editor of “NBC Nightly News” for a decade, leading NBC News’ coverage of major breaking news and political events, including presidential elections and debates. Holt has served as principal anchor of “Dateline” since September 2011 and joined NBC News in 2000. He recently received a News & Documentary Emmy Award for his exclusive sit-down with Former President Joe Biden, his final interview before he dropped out of the 2024 race.
Thomas C. Quick, a highly regarded business executive and philanthropist, has been named the 2026 recipient of the Palm Beach Civic Association’s William J. “Bill” Brooks Community Service Award and will receive the award during the breakfast.
The award breakfast will be held on Monday, February 2, 2026 at 9:00am at The Breakers.
This is the Civic Association's only fundraiser of the year.
