Dr. Ray Dorsey, MD, MBA, is Professor of Neurology at the University of Rochester. His research on brain diseases has been published in leading medical journals and featured in news outlets including NPR, The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times. He directed the movement disorders division at Johns Hopkins and co-authored Ending Parkinson’s Disease, a book that provides a prescription for ending the world’s fastest growing brain disease.
Dr. Bruce Lanphear, MD, MPH, is Professor of Health Sciences at Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, B.C. He has conducted research on the impact of pesticides, lead, and other toxic chemicals on children’s health for over 25 years. He led studies used by federal agencies to set standards for lead in air, water and house dust, and his studies were the impetus for federal agencies to conclude that no amount of lead is safe for children.
Moderated by Katie Carpenter, a media professional with three decades of experience writing and producing documentary films about environmental subjects for television including National Geographic TV, Discovery Channel, PBS and Animal Planet.
