Mrs. J. Ira Harris (Nicki) is an active member of the Palm Beach Civic Association and co-recipient of the 2020 William J. “Bill” Brooks Community Service Award along with her late husband, and longtime Civic Association director, J. Ira Harris. J. Ira and Nicki Harris have been leading supporters of Palm Beach charities and causes for more than 30 years.
Nicki Harris has served on the boards of the Norton Museum of Art and the Preservation Foundation of Palm Beach and was honored as a Woman of Distinction by Palm Beach Atlantic University. She has co-chaired, along with (Civic Association Directors and longtime friends) Hillie Mahoney and Janne Rumbough, the Annual Night of Stars gala at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts to raise money for the Children’s Education Fund during the kick-off years of the center.
Mr. and Mrs. Harris founded the J. Ira and Nicki Harris Foundation. Their philanthropy focuses on education, arts, health care, community service and goodwill. These contributions are held in great regard throughout the United States.
Nicki Harris holds a degree in fashion merchandising and marketing management.
Mrs. Harris and her late husband have two grown children and six grandchildren.
