The Palm Beach Winter Season is here and so, unfortunately, is the virus that has turned our world upside down for many months. This forum, presented by the Palm Beach Civic Association, is intended to provide information and comfort to our residents during a difficult time for all of us.

In this episode Town Council President Maggie Zeidman interviews local doctors who are experts on COVID-19.

Dr. Kenneth Scheppke, is board-certified in both emergency medicine and EMS. He has been practicing emergency medicine for over 25 years and serves as the State EMS Medical Director for the Florida Department of Health as well as the EMS Medical Director for six fire-rescue agencies in Palm Beach County, including the Town of Palm Beach. Dr. Scheppke is a nationally recognized expert in EMS and has been involved in the State’s COVID-19 response since the beginning of the pandemic and along with his background in emergency medicine and biochemistry, he is highly knowledgeable and informed in the development of the many vaccines on the horizon to prevent COVID 19.
