Public Safety  |  March 15, 2020

A message from Maggie Zeidman on the COVID-19 Pandemic, March 15, 2020.

Letter from the Mayor: Stay Calm, Carry On, and Take Precautions

I know there is a high degree of anxiety and concern regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. Please know that the town has undertaken efforts to establish proactive protocols and emergency response plans to ensure the health and safety of our community, which remains our top priority.

Communication with federal, state and local officials are ongoing, as they are our partners for obtaining current information and coordinating protective measures. Procedures for ensuring public safety and welfare are constantly changing, requiring ongoing modifications. Please make sure you are signed up to receive COVID-19 daily updates and additional protective actions by visiting the town’s website.

Cancellations of large-scale events, including cultural, social, recreational and religious occasions continue. Store hours, including hours of operation at Publix, have been shortened and the town website will revise these changes as we receive them.
