It’s a big county and for 28 years former Palm Beach County Commissioner Karen Marcus wielded great influence and collected scores of contacts and connections in South Florida and Washington DC.

Now as a consultant to the Civic Association, her focus is on our small island slice of Palm Beach County which plays an out-sized role in the welfare of the communities on the other side of the bridges.

Her focus for the Civic Association is the Port of Palm Beach, Peanut Island, off-island traffic issues through West Palm Beach, government budget and spending in Palm Beach County (where most of the property taxes go from Town of Palm Beach residents), and the environment for the Intracoastal and our water supply.
