Susan Wright has spent her career in marketing and broadcasting.   She is the Senior Vice President of the Suzanne Wright Foundation, Director of The Town of Palm Beach United Way, Ann Norton Sculpture Garden, and the Fellowship of Christians and Jews.  She previously served as the United States Chancellor of the Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem and the Orders National Development Committee.

She received a Presidential Appointment by George H. Bush to serve as chairman of the Advisory Commission on the Arts.  She later co-founded the National Committee for the Performing Arts at the Kennedy Center and co-founded the Johns Hopkins Women’s Health Journey in Palm Beach.

Mrs. Wright served as Director of Pace Industries, Executive Vice President of the Palm Beach Civic Association, Palm Beach Day Academy, The Lord’s Place and Director and Senior Vice President of Sabadell Bank & Trust.

She has led fundraising events for the American Red Cross Ball, Center for Creative Education, Children’s Home Society, Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Mary Rubloff YWCA Harmony House, Pat Reeves Village for Homeless Families with Children, Center for Family Services, South Florida Science Museum, Dana Farber Cancer Institute, H.O.W., the Ryann Licht Sang Bipolar Foundation and the Palm Beach Day Academy.

In her earlier career, she was a reporter, producer, and news anchorwoman for top-market television stations across the United States.

Mrs. Wright has a wide range of civic and volunteer leadership experience, putting to work her fundraising and organizational background. Mrs. Wright received the Woman of Distinction award from Palm Beach Atlantic University and the Association of Fundraising Professionals Outstanding Volunteer Fundraiser of the Year award.

Mrs. Wright attended UCLA and received her Bachelor of Science degree, summa cum laude, in organization management from Palm Beach Atlantic University, where she was awarded the Leadership Award.  She also earned a master’s degree in business administration with a concentration in marketing.

Mrs. Wright has two sons and lives in Palm Beach with her husband, Bob.  They enjoy spending their free time golfing and boating.
