Reuben is currently Chairman of Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation Americas Holdings, Inc. and is a non-executive director of PartnerRe Ltd.  He was previously Chief Executive Officer of Rockefeller & Co.

From 2002-2009 Reuben held various positions in the US Government including as Senior Director on the Staff of the National Security Council, Chairman of the Commodities Futures Trading Commission and as Undersecretary of State for Economic, Energy and Agricultural Affairs.

Previously he spent 18 years at Goldmans, Sachs & Co. in New York, London, and Paris. He began his career as a lawyer at David Polk & Wardwell. He is a graduate of Yale College and received a J.D./M.B.A. from Stanford.

He and his wife Robin have resided in Palm Beach since 2018.
