Mrs. Lickle was founder of Pink Ladies, the first volunteer group formed at University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville. While a resident of Wilmington, DE, she served as vice president and executive committee member of the junior board of Memorial Hospital for 15 years, and was a founding member and chair of Holly Ball Foundation to benefit Wilmington Medical Center for 12 years. Mrs. Lickle and her husband, William, purchased their first home in Palm Beach in 1973.
