Paul Efron

Paul is a retired Partner of Goldman Sachs & Company where he worked in a variety of different investment banking roles from 1984 to 2022. Paul ran numerous businesses at Goldman Sachs including Leveraged Finance, New Product Development and European Capital Markets. He acted as lead banker to Ford Motor Company for 15 years and arranged several critical financings to keep Ford solvent during the financial crisis. He served on the Firmwide Capital Committee for 20 years and was Chair of the Credit Markets Committee. He previously worked at First Boston and at Morgan Guaranty Trust Company.

Paul has a BA from Pomona College where he graduated cum laude and was Phi Beta Kappa and an MBA from the Wharton Graduate Division of the University of Pennsylvania where he was on the Director’s Honor List.

Paul is currently a director of Endo, Inc. and Bionic Sight. He previously served on the Boards of Directors of Oodles Energy, lnsurent Corporation, Ecobat, Integrated Defense and Security Systems, Insomnia Cookies and Survey.com.

Paul served on the Board of Trustees of Pomona College for 12 years including acting as the Board Chair. He was on the Executive Committee of Bard College where he served for 5 years.

He and his wife Susan live in Palm Beach and have two adult children and two grandchildren.
