Kathleen Ridder Crampton has been a senior executive with experience across the Health Care sector including health insurance, hospital management, health care consulting, and early stage companies funded by venture capital. Until recently, Kathleen was a Consultant with Corizon Health Care, and with Donovan & Yoder, both health care consulting firms specializing in Medicaid managed care.
From 2009 to 2014, Kathleen was the President and CEO for United Healthcare of Florida, Inc. Community Plan. Before joining United, Kathleen spent 9 years with the Centene Corporation, where she was President and CEO Managed Health Services of Wisconsin and President and CEO of Buckeye Community Health Plan of Ohio.
Prior to 2000, Kathleen worked for a broad range of companies in the health care industry: PriceWaterhouse Coopers, Harvard Community Health Plan, HealthTech, Inc; Boston Children’s Medical Center; Brigham and Women’s Hospital, the Martha Eliot Health Center and the Massachusetts League of Neighborhood Health Centers.
Kathleen has been recognized over the years for her contributions to health care. In 2014, she was the recipient of the Commonwealth Foundation Annual Outstanding Woman Leader in Florida award; and in 2012 United Healthcare Group awarded her that company’s prestigious Collaboration Cup.
Kathleen is currently on the following boards:
- DataMotion Inc. an IT company that provides secure data transmission software to companies in the governmental, legal, financial, and health care sectors
- Intercept TeleMed, Inc., provides intensivists and state-of-the-art tele-ICU services to hospitals
- New World Angels, a Florida focused Angel investment group
- Advisory Board of the WCD Foundation which supports women on corporate boards
- Good Samaritan Hospital Board of Governors
- Board member and treasurer of the Tres Vidas Home Owners Association
- Member, Finance Committee of the Bath and Tennis Club
- Chair of Floridians for National Popular Vote
A graduate of Boston University with a BA in American History, Kathleen holds an MPH in Public Health from Harvard University, and an MBA in Finance from George Washington University.
Kathleen and her husband, Lew, live in Florida where he is an elected Palm Beach Town Councilor and former President of the South Florida Science Center. They have three children and five charming grandchildren.
