John is a Senior Global Real Estate Advisor at Sotheby’s International Realty, where he partners with his wife, Lisa, a nationally renowned author on homes, architecture and interior design. The Cregan Team has consistently been ranked the #1 team at Sotheby’s Palm Beach office and in the Top 100 Agents globally for all Sotheby’s-owned offices.
Prior to joining Sotheby’s, John spent over forty years on Wall Street, first advising bond portfolio managers on the interplay of interest rates, credit and housing market dynamics, and then leading wealth management teams counseling affluent families on risk, allocation and the intergenerational transfer of assets. John has served as a Director of the Palm Beach Civic Association since 2012. He was elected in 2021 a Director of the Palm Beach Board of Realtors where he serves as Treasurer. His past interests include acting as a Trustee of his alma mater, Dickinson College, Director and Chair of the Investment Committee for the Chicago Botanic Garden, and three-time Co-Chair of the Lurie Children’s Hospital pro-am golf tournament in Lake Forest, Illinois.
