Mr. Levitt is the former executive chairman and founder of Precyse, the leading national provider of Health Information Management (HIM) services and technologies. Mr. Levitt sold Precyse to Pamplona Capital Management in July 2015. Mr. Levitt previously built four other companies in healthcare, including Johnson Rents, a regional durable medical equipment company; Foster Medical Corporation, a roll-up of durable medical equipment organizations; Heritage Health Systems, Inc., which integrated several HMOs; and Orthopedic Services, Inc., a publicly owned provider of artificial limbs and braces. He was also a founding director of NovaCare, rehabilitation providers in inpatient, outpatient and long-term care settings, which bought Orthopedic Services in 1992. Mr. Levitt remained with NovaCare until becoming a private investor in 1994 and then founding Precyse. A graduate of The Wharton School of University of Pennsylvania, he later obtained his law degree from Villanova University. He is both an attorney and a CPA. He and his wife, Susan, live in Palm Beach and have two children and a grandchild.
