George J. Michel Jr. retired after 35 years in corporate management in the metalworking and electronics industries. He most recently served as chairman of the board and CEO of Stanadyne, Inc., in Windsor, CT. He is a former, vice chairman of Kravis Center for the Performing Arts, chairman of the board of trustees of Admiral Farragut Academy and a director of numerous private corporations. A graduate of Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Mr. Michel received the 1980 MIT Corporate Management Leadership Award.
