Daniel W. Stanton

Director

Dan Stanton is a retired partner of Goldman, Sachs and Co., where he worked from 1981 to 2003. While there, he started the prime brokerage business working with the global hedge fund community. He was also head of Private Wealth Management and head of Equity Institutional Sales.

Dan has lived in Palm Beach since 2004 and has been married to Mary Stanton since 1976. They have 3 grown children and 4 grandchildren.

Dan serves as Chairman of the Palm Beach Retirement Board, which manages the pension fund assets for town employees.

He is one of four co-founders of the new West Palm Golf Park, a worldclass public golf course and learning center designed by Gil Hanse. The Park will provide a needed recreational facility for people of all ages. As a 501(c)(3) organization, Dan was instrumental in the fundraising effort at The Park, which raised over $50 million in three months. The money was used to build the facility and create an endowment to ensure its longevity.

Dan is the non-Executive Chairman of Wealth Partners Capital Group, a business headquartered in Palm Beach. Dan is past Chairman of the Board at The Benjamin School.

Dan holds a BS in Finance from Canisius College and an MBA from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Business.
