Mrs. Aylward was born and raised in China. She has an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from Jiangsu Institute of Technology, a graduate degree in Information Science from Jilin University of Technology, and a graduate degree in Industrial Engineering from University of Wisconsin. Mrs. Aylward taught at the Jiangsu Institute of Technology and worked for the metal casting industry in Wisconsin as a systems engineer. Mrs. Aylward was a trustee for the Norton Museum of Art, the Palm Beach Day School and SITE Santa Fe, in Santa Fe, NM. Mrs. Aylward enjoys gardening and woodworking. She lectures on Chinese Gardens for various institutions. She and her husband have been Palm Beach United Way Tocuqueville Society Members for over 20 years. They were members of Collectors Committee of the National Gallery of Art, Washington, DC for 10 years. They live in Palm Beach and Santa Fe, New Mexico. They have two grown children.
