By: R. Michael Brown, Civic Association Communications Director -- Pat Cooper, Civic Association Treasurer, arrived at our office today and said he early voted this morning.
"No lines, a great experience," said Mr. Cooper. "There were only two ahead of me and most of the voting booths were empty."
Mr. Cooper voted at the Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections Office:
240 South Military Trail
West Palm Beach, FL 33415
Phone: (561) 656-6200
The address is just south of Southern Blvd. on Military Trail.
"It took me 10 minutes," he said. "That's because I had the Civic Association Voters Guide."
Mr. Cooper used the guide to make his decisions before going to the polls. "I don't know how anyone could vote without a cheat sheet," he said. "It's a very long ballot."
Mr. Cooper went early; but, others are reporting that later in the morning, the lines are getting quite long - at least an hour wait, standing in the heat outside.
Registered voters may vote early from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily on October 22, 2018, through November 4, 2018.
