Get Your Real ID or You Can't Board Flights!

You will need a REAL ID  on your Florida Drivers License (or whatever state drivers license you hold - this is a federal law) to board a commercial flight or enter a federal building.  That includes court houses (jury duty etc.).

The REAL ID Act, a federal homeland security measure [ The REAL ID Law ] was passed to fight terrorism and reduce fraud.

Flagler Bridge Reopens on Schedule

Flagler Memorial Bridge

The North Bridge opened on-time today, November 1st, as promised by FDOT. Civic Association Communications Director Mike Brown drove over the bridge both ways at 9 a.m. and reports that it was a smoother ride than 6 months ago when it closed.

FDOT News Alert: Flagler Memorial Bridge to Reopen November 1

On Saturday morning, Nov. 1, the Flagler Memorial Bridge will reopen to vehicular and pedestrian traffic Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) officials report.

Once reopened, there will be one eastbound lane and one westbound lane on the bridge with no restrictions and the north sidewalk will be open. Left turn restrictions at the intersection of the Royal Park Bridge and Flagler Drive will remain in place.
