Identity theft is the fastest growing crime in the world today, and that makes properly disposing of confidential documents more important than ever. This event is being co-sponsored by Palm Beach Crime Watch, Inc., and ShredAssured, a locally-owned confidential paper shredding and data destruction company serving South Florida.
ShredAssured will supply a mobile shredding truck, capable of destroying documents safely and securely. Materials to be shredded include old tax records and returns, bank statements, checks, employment records, and any documents containing confidential personal information. Individuals and those with small or home businesses are welcome to take part. This event is not designed to accommodate large businesses. Staples and paper clips do not have to be removed. You do not even have to get out of your car – we will have staff on hand to assist by removing boxes and bags of documents from your vehicle.
