Michael Williams, host of To the Point on WPTV discusses cancer and the Suzanne Wright Foundation with Bob Wright, chairman and CEO of the Civic Association.
Most people think of breast cancer or lung cancer but there's a another form of cancer that kills 117 Americans every single day that many people perhaps do not think about. It's pancreatic cancer.
Now there is a new effort to bring more attention to it and more treatment for patients and that effort is being led by a familiar face in our community and nationwide. Bob Wright, the former head of NBC and currently the chairman and CEO of the Palm Beach Civic Association, and along with his late wife Suzanne, they spearheaded and created Autism Speaks.
Now he's begun the Suzanne Wright Foundation devoted to the fight against pancreatic cancer.
