Expansion of H1N1 Vaccination Campaign Priority Groups

The goal of the Florida H1N1 Influenza Mass Vaccination Campaign is to immunize all Floridians and visitors who choose to be vaccinated.  Florida began vaccinating CDC recommended priority groups the week of 10/12/09, and is now ready to expand beyond those groups as vaccine becomes available.

CIVIC ASSOCIATION FLU FORUM SPEAKERS REPORT THE H1N1 SCIENCE AND WHAT YOU SHOULD DO

“The bottom line,” said Dr. Earl Campazzi of Island Medical Care at the Civic Association Flu Forum, “is you should receive the H1N1 vaccination after consultation with your physician.”

Both Dr. Campazzi and the Palm Beach Fire-Rescue Division EMS Chief Darryl Donatto said they have treated H1N1 victims in the Town of Palm Beach.
