UPDATE: Flagler [North] Bridge Closing this Weekend - Grand Opening Monday

The Flagler Memorial Bridge will be closed from 10 p.m. Friday, July 28, to 6 a.m. Monday, July 31, in preparation for opening four lanes of traffic on the new bridge. While the bridge is closed, all eastbound and westbound traffic will be detoured to the Royal Park Bridge to cross the Intracoastal Waterway.

Flagler [North] Bridge Re-Opens with Limited Lanes

Lane shifting was completed over the weekend and there is now one lane open east bound and one lane open west bound over the new spans of the Flagler Memorial [North] Bridge. All four lanes on the new bridge are not open yet.

Southern Boulevard Bridge Lane Closures

FDOT News Release -- The Southern Boulevard (SR 80) Bridge and Causeway will have lane closures from 9 p.m. Sunday, June 11, to 6 a.m. Monday, June 12, with closures alternating between the eastbound and westbound lanes.

Southern Blvd. bridge replacement is underway. Construction barges with cranes are on the north side of the bridge and work has begun. Bingham Island has been fenced for construction material and equipment. First order of business: Build a temporary bridge.
