The Palm Beach Civic Association and the Citizens’ Association of Palm Beach have pooled talents and resources to form a joint committee to monitor town efforts to protect our shoreline.
Town leaders on Palm Beach say damages brought on by Hurricane Sandy will cost $6 million to repair.

From Miami to the northeast, Hurricane Sandy generated huge swells up to over 15 feet for days. The beach erosion is significant, including in Palm Beach.
According to the Town of Palm Beach Public Works staff the Midtown Beach Public Restroom construction project is on track to open before Thanksgiving weekend. The contractor is Copper Stone Construction and Design.
